New York City, New York
An urban adventure through a city that never sleeps!
I spent a short but lovely weekend in New York City. As luck would have it, it turned out to be a warm and perfectly sunny summer to meander through lower Manhattan. Instead of traveling by foot in the sweltering heat we decided to rent bicycles; it turned out to be a brilliant idea making it a quick and deligthful way to see the city highlights in a few short hours. Surprisingly New York City is cyclist friendly with having designated bike lanes on the roads. Quite honestly I felt more comfortable cycling in NYC than I ever did living in Chicago. This City is full of life, character, energy, and in my onion the closest you can get to a European big City atmosphere. Where the old meets new in eclectic styles and exciting discoveries are just around the corner!
Cheers!
